I called Leonard Gaskin at nursing home in Queens.

On a phone, he sounded not like used be…
I asked nurse what happened and she told me that his wife had passed away and he stay in his room all day and haven’t eat much.

I couldn’t stand he is in a grief because he is a person who gave me a lot of happiness for me.
How can I make him happy?

So took an air ticket.

A night before I left Japan, I though “Can I sing for him?”
I took my microphone, music scores and visited NY to see him with this flyer and love.

even I didn’t have any plan… but miracle happened!!

I sang at first time in the past eight years.

And, this was a last chance for making memories with Mr. Leonard Gaskin who gave me so many precious things in my life.
